THE SHORT VERSION OF A LONG ROAD
I spent years and a small fortune finding what works. You don’t have to.
If you’re reading this, you’re probably somewhere I’ve been. Sick, or scared for someone who is. A shelf of supplements, a stack of bills, and a growing suspicion that half the people advising you are also selling to you.
I’m not telling you my story because it’s interesting. I’m telling it because it’s the reason I can help you skip the years I lost.

WHERE IT STARTED
My body fell apart in my early twenties. Then it got worse.
I moved to New York to do musical theater. Instead I woke up one morning with every joint on fire. Nothing showed on the bloodwork. For nearly five years I lived on Advil, Tylenol, and prescription painkillers.
Then the other shoe. Testicular cancer. One tumor became nine. They wrapped a kidney, the vein running to my heart, the lymph nodes in my abdomen. Chemo and a run of surgeries got me to cancer-free in under a year.

THE BOTTOM
Cancer-free, and sicker than I had ever been.

Within three months my health collapsed. To everyone outside I looked fine. Inside I was falling apart, one hospital trip away from the next crisis. My doctors had done their job. The cancer was gone, and the fact that I was still in agony was, as far as they were concerned, someone else’s problem.
By 2011 I was down to fourteen foods I could eat without an inflammatory reaction. A foot of my small intestine was removed. My brain was so slow I once sat holding both shoelaces for a full minute, honestly unable to work out how to tie my shoes.
I visited naturopaths across the country and specialists on other continents. The help was limited and unaffordable, and it always came as more prescriptions and more bags of supplements. Nobody was looking at the whole picture. Nobody was looking at me.
THE PROMISE
Flat on the floor, I made one promise.
If I ever got my life back, I would become the person I couldn’t find. A lighthouse for anyone walking the same road behind me.
That is what survivors owe. And it came with a hard realization: if I wanted a different outcome, I was going to have to start asking better questions.

WHAT I DID ABOUT IT
I stopped handing my body to strangers.

The mistake underneath all of it was that I had outsourced myself. Handed my body to whoever sounded most certain and hoped.
So I went and learned it. Functional and biological medicine. Health coaching. Gut repair, drainage, nervous system, the emotional patterns that keep people stuck. The clinical and the energetic, because I wanted to judge all of it for myself instead of taking anyone’s word. I had one patient to practice on. Me.
It turns out the body runs on systems, in an order, that almost nobody had bothered to explain to me. Once I understood the order, the lights started coming back on. My energy returned. The pain let go. I slept through the night for the first time in years.
WHAT I FOUND
Your body isn’t broken. It’s talking.
Here is what years of trial and error cost me, handed to you for free.
The body is not the enemy. It is communicating, and most of us were never taught the language. Before you add anything, you align with how it already works. Before you fix, you listen. Before you chase a symptom, you strengthen the ground it grew in.
I will say the part the wellness world usually skips. I am alive because of modern medicine. Brilliant surgeons, compassionate oncologists, and chemotherapy that was brutal and saved my life. Anyone selling you one side against the other is selling you something. The truth needs both.
Health is a skill. Not a thing you buy, not something waiting in a bottle. My work is the gap between the doctor’s office and the grocery store, and almost nobody is standing in it.

WHERE I STAND
One person in the room who isn’t selling you.

I make money when you buy. I’m an affiliate for the products I recommend, earning a commission at no extra cost to you. I’ll tell you that every time, because it is exactly why you can trust what comes next.
I turned down a $3,000 commission by telling someone the machine they wanted would not fix a problem they were creating every night at the dinner table. What I refuse to sell tells you more about me than anything I do sell.
I am not a licensed practitioner, and I will always tell you which is which. When your situation needs a doctor, I will hand you to one I trust.
I thought that was the end of the hard part. It was the beginning.
FOR YOU
It comes down to three questions.
Everything I do starts here, and you can start here right now.
01
How do you feel?
02
What do you actually want?
03
What are you willing to do about it?
Answer those honestly and the path stops being a mystery. Foundations first, where you have the most say. Then, and only then, the tech and tools that earn their place. You take real ownership, and you spend your 80s living like you’re 60.
